Is an air mattress good for your back?
I have a futon mattress at the moment and it’s really uncomfortable. Other mattresses I was looking at are way too expensive for me. I basically need a mattress that is very firm. Almost as firm as the carpet on the floor since that feels the most comfortable for me. Otherwise I wake up with my back hurting. Would an air mattress be a good choice for me?

look in the local newpaper, for a second hand one, and put ply wood under it ,to support the mattress
